Caius Talwan (Royal: Kayës Talwan) was a Lord of the Bread Bin. A commoner who entered the King's Army, Caius Talwan benefited from the more meritocratic system spearheaded by King Lonsank and quickly rose through its ranks. His most famous feat, and the one that brought him to the young King Fyuri's attention, was his victory against and personal killing of Robert “Little Cape” Buret, a leader of the New Calpirites that had taken over large swathes of territory in the central Bread Bin.
