The Islands (Royal: Sun Ram lit. The Several Islands), was a dominion of the Snow Empire consisting of three main island chains: Chela, the Dugong Islands, and the Laseet Island Chain. The Islands are a major power in the Struggle for Gera. Though they are nominally ruled by Rinwald, she has granted nearly unprecedented regional autonomy to the various subregions of the Islands. Although some of the regions have striven for independence and cut ties with Rinwald altogether, most of what was previously known as the Islands, as well as a significant chunk of Rac's Ack have remained at least some what loyal to her.
